...I was able to save to my camera roll. Im on a 3Gs and app crashes every time I try to save. I tried restarting the phone. Still crashes. Controls are confusing at first, but everything seems to work once you figure it out. The stereoscopic effect is cool. Would be 5 stars if save was working. Also, "free" version is a bit of a scam since app is useless until you "register" for $1.99.

This is really a fun application. If you are familiar with 3D pics, then you will love it. Very clever idea. Thanks guys.

reviewer number one had the aoo crashes when saving to camera roll, and it does for me as well. I also agree with the comment that the free version doesnt really do anything, but the app us great and will be well worth the price if they get it working right!!!

Tried the free version and used my glasses and it works. It was nice to get the option to try it out, preview the phone size photo with glasses to see if it worked. Then pay the 1.99 if it works for what you want. This isnt going to win you any photography awards, but fun for those mobile phone shots when youre out just to show friends. The resolution is lost a little when its displayed full screen on a computer or tv, but thats the phones fault for being 2MB. Still Ill have fun with this.

Okay, the initial app is free, but youre quickly going to want to spend a couple bucks to register for full functionality. This allows you to take and share 3D photos in a variety of viewing formats. The take-shift-take technique for single-lens 3D is very nicely controlled here, requiring that you simply follow the simple on-screen directions. The software then analyzes your photo to insure the left and right views are aligned, and you end up with an impressive real-3D photo. Note that single-lens 3D does not work well at all with moving subjects. But, if you can choose still-life subjects or freeze your subject for a few seconds, this app will provide excellent 3D results!

First of all thanks for updating to allow 3d pics on iphone4 and other ios4 phones! But... Its still sorta broke. Any picture taken at night or partially dark will invoke the flash, this alone is not a bug problem.. However when the shutter closes it never re-opens, so you cannot take the second pic correctly... I tried disabling flash in the camera app, but the 3d camera app does not accept these settings and insists on using the flash... Bottom line, its un-usable in dark or semi-dark areas. But now works great in the day again in bright areas! Either give the ability to turn off flash in the app, let the app take the settings in the regular camera app, or best thing, fix the shutter issue so a flash can be used to make 3d pics! Appreciate the hard work, this app is much better than all the other 3d camera apps for sure! Just need these major bug fixes and all will be good again! :)

I agree, if it doesnt work in free version why buy it? Well Ive had the same crashes, screen shutter never open and more.

I think "3d camera lite" is much better

U can see the pictures u take in the program but u cant save them to your phone without buying the registered version... damn the registered version!

A very simple easy to use app. Upgraded to the full version. Not dissapointed.

Simple but effective use of touch screen to teach the proper offset. This is a demo app, but if You want to save your low res demo just take a screen shot click home and power buttons quickly to take screen capture (works in any app) Worth $2? If you own a $300 iPod or $400 phone.. I think you can spare a medium frys worth of change for this app. Works very well, choose a subject with depth, at an angle. Heres the tip youll want to hug me for.. Take two fingers, hold vertical up to you nose dividing your left and right eyes. Now try stereo mode keep moving phone closer until you see one sharp image form in the middle, itll be right up to your face. Works perfectly no crashes on my iPod touch 4g.

I cant do anything that looks even remotely "3D". This should be the "give me a headache" app. GMAH3D. Pro.

So I take a pic and follow the steps then when I go and view it it said upgrade to full version which is $1.99 do not buy

Ive been making parallel and cross view 3D pictures for about ten years by taking two pictures then carefully aligning them on a computer to produce the 3D effect. I found the 3D Camera app by Juicy Bits in the app store about 6 months ago and LOVED it. For $1.99 I was able to make 3D pictures right on my phone. AMAZING! But just a few days ago I found this app, Camera 3D Pro, and it takes mobile 3D to another level of simplicity(also costs $1.99 to unlock full functionality). In less than 10 seconds I can now make a 3D stereo image. This app does all the work for you, if you want. No need to line anything up, just take a relatively steady (although the app has an algorithm to correct the pictures if youre not exactly steady) picture and youre done. LOVE this app. I took away one star because its not 100% reliable. It has crashed a couple of times during the image processing causing me to lose the shot. Id also like to see the export to camera roll process, from selecting which mode (parallel, cross-view,etc) to selecting all for deletion after exporting improved upon. But as Ive said already, the 3D creation process is beautifully done. GREAT JOB! PS - the free demo version makes low resolution images, but the paid for version allows full resolution once theyre exported and viewed through the camera roll

Collest app ever!!! Doesnt work on moving objects obviously but it is still AWESOME!!! i gave taken so many photos in 3d now it is crazy!!

The app works fine, but download only If you want to pay $2.99 to save the pictures.

This app doesnt even take pics in 3d it just takes pics and you have to pay2.99 to get 3d it was supposed to be free it should have a plus button next to free if it has in app purchases this app is really bad learn how to make better apps that people will actually like

And I had the ability of all features. Reloaded the other day and now everything is locked. Whats up with that?
